aespa Winter Reveals Dream Career If She Hadn't Debuted as Idol

In a radio broadcast, aespa Winter talked about the childhood dream job she probably pursued if she wasn't able to debut as an idol... and it's really far from her current career! Can you guess what it is? Read on to know!

aespa Winter's Dream Job Before Debut as Idol

On MBC FM4U's "Kim Shin Young's Hope Song at Noon," which aired on July 12, aespa members Karina, Winter, Giselle and NingNing appeared as special guests.

During the broadcast, the quartet also talked about themselves aside from promoting its recently released album, "Girls." In fact, during the "Speed Quiz" section, Winter talked about her childhood dream, which is becoming a soldier!

Winter was asked whether she'd rather do training during winter or summer, and without hesitation, she chose the latter. Kim Shin Young asked:

"If you have guerrilla training, when do you want to do it, during the cold season or summer?"

Winter replied:

"I get really cold easily. So I rather prefer summer. I don't really sweat."

While on the topic, DJ Kim then asked about Winter's childhood dream. During the conversation, Winter also mentioned his brother, who was actually revealed to be an officer.

"Yes, my childhood dream was to become a soldier. I haven't done guerrilla training, but I enjoyed the military program. Actually, my brother is an officer."

What a surprising childhood dream!

This is not the first time that Winter talked about her dream job. When she debuted in 2020, the "Savage" singer confessed that she actually considered pursuing the career before she trained as an idol.

"I wanted to be a singer since I was young. But I just thought that being a soldier is very charming."

She went on by revealing that she actually came from a family of soldiers!

Due to her family and relatives' influence, whom she had been watching since she was little, Winter claimed that she naturally liked it.

It's a shame that we can't see Winter in her military uniform, but we are also fortunate that she debuted as aespa!
