On July 14, aespa excluding Winter appeared as a special guest on KBS Cool FM's "Gikwang's Gayo Plaza." The aforementioned member was, unfortunately, unable to attend the broadcast due to health problems.
Nevertheless, the radio broadcast was welcomed by fans, especially MY (fandom), who passionately cheered the three members outside the radio booth.
Karina also took the chance to express her gratitude to their supporters after aespa's second mini-album, "Girls," which was released recently, recorded 1,426,487 albums in its first week, ranking first in girl group history.

In particular, they confirmed that the album "Girls" is also the climax of aespa's metaverse, mainly about fighting "Black Mamba," the villain in their worldview.
Karina said:
"The story is central. This is the last time for 'Black Mamba.' We killed it."
When Gikwang asked if it was okay to finish the villain of the story, the members wittily replied:
"Lee Soo Man told us to kill it now, so we killed (Black Mamba) with his permission."
Regarding how they shoot the MV through the green screen, DJ Gikwang then asked the "Savage" singers if it was difficult to act with an object without seeing it (pretending that there is an object). With this, Giselle stated:
"We've been doing this concept since our debut, so we've gotten used to it."
Karina added:
"There are only strong (electric) fans during the fighting scene or the subway scene, so we shake our bodies or the camera director shakes the camera. The music video results are okay, but I'm so embarrassed when I see the behind-the-scenes."
Karina also expressed her embarrassment showing full bangs styling for the first time since her debut.
"I've been sticking to the style without bangs, but I've had full bangs (in the MV/teasers). I put on a wig, but when I watch the music video, the bangs sometimes flips up. I hope you don't watch it in slow motion."
aespa Reveals Respective Powers in Their Worldview + Lee Soo Man's Abilities

"Giselle: I'm Xeno Glossy and I control light.
Winter: I'm equipped and good at weapons. I got (killed) the Black Mamba."
Going back to the radio broadcast of Gikwang, the DJ pointed out that there's a listener who's curious about Lee Soo Man's power.
Giselle replied:
"I think it's teaching. There are a lot of rap parts in our song, but if there's an expression you want, they show us realistically. He dances himself and expresses how Black Mamba is."
Karina attested to this and further conveyed:
"At the beginning of our debut, there was a place to eat (with CEO Lee Soo Man), and he played us the song and showed us the dance. He usually shows it to us."
