In online communities, internet users accused Winter of photoshopping her photos. In particular, looking at the first and second photos, the allure of Winter will be the first thing you will notice, especially how the black beret suits the idol best.

But looking at the third photo, web users claimed that it was severely photoshopped as you will start to notice the distorted stairs near the idol's waist. Due to this, the netizens were convinced that the female star edited her physique to look slimmer but failed.

As soon as the photos became controversial among fans and internet users, there were divided opinions about Winter allegedly editing her photos.

Some criticized Winter and said:

"Wow, (curse) they should really stop taking pictures on the stairs. What a way to set themselves up."
"You can't trust anyone's photos."
"It's so obvious. Her body looks unnatural."

However, fans came into the idol's defense and mocked the haters, saying:

"Seriously, where's the controversy? Or do you want to make a controversy?
"I do it all the time. That's why filters exist."
    "Who cares, all celebrities edit."
"Why would they bend the stairs (sarcasm)."

Furthermore, fans defended Winter by stating that it could not be the idol who did the "photoshopping" but could be SM's social media handler.
