Most K-pop groups and soloists typically promote their new tracks on a Korean music show twice or thrice. But unlike them, aespa performed "Girls" only once in the four programs above.

On July 25, one netizen took to the online forum TheQoo to point this out, and the post immediately gained thousands of views. It has more than 58,000 views as of this writing.

In the post, the netizen shared screenshots of another TheQoo post, where several online community users discussed aespa's music show appearances.

The original TheQoo post says, "aespa's music show promotion isn't only the first time for SM artists but in the entire industry. There were conflicts, or their schedules were based on a one-time appearance. It's my first time seeing [a group] barely perform in music shows."

In the comments section of the first TheQoo post, one netizen said, "They only appear on, let's say, Thursday and Saturday this week, and the next week would be on Friday and Sunday. They only attend the four public shows."

Another netizen said that aespa has been performing only once on the four Korean music shows since "Next Level." The other netizens criticized SM Entertainment for letting the girls appear only a few times on those programs.

Under the second TheQoo post, more online community users expressed their disappointment. Below are some of the comments:

"Aren't they acting like BLACKPINK and trying to bring up their exclusivity image? It's about spending less and lasting longer."

"Nowadays, I want to watch Karina's fancams. Give us more stages."

"I personally think aespa is good at performing on music shows, so it's a bit of a shame."

"The fans must be annoyed. Don't they know how fun it is to watch music shows?"

"Why is SM like that?"

"Serious, this is annoying. Why don't they attend any music shows properly?"
