LOTUS World Tour 2023 With BLACKPINK, TWICE, More? Alleged Lineup of Special Guests Posted

On July 29, Within Destruction took to their official Instagram account to share a new photo.

For starters, Within Destruction is a Slovenian deathcore/nu-metal band formed in 2010. The band consists of lead vocalist Rok Rupnik, drummer Luka Vezzosi, and guitarist Damir Juretic. The band was initially composed of five members, including bassist Janez Skumavc and guitarist Francesco Filigoi.

The band's latest IG post appears to imply that they will participate in the "LOTUS World Tour 2023." But the lineup of guest artists caught netizens' attention the most. It states that BLACKPINK, TWICE, aespa, and Dreamcatcher will participate in the world tour next year.

Within Destruction also tagged the official Instagram accounts of these four K-pop girl groups and even included hashtags related to them in the caption.

While the Instagram post didn't gain too many likes, the picture of the alleged LOTUS World Tour 2023 featuring BLACKPINK, TWICE, aespa, and Dreamcatcher was quickly shared on other social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. It was also uploaded to online communities including Reddit, attracting the attention of more netizens.

Naturally, several fans got excited about the upcoming tour, given that the four aforementioned K-pop girl groups would be in the same place at the same time. However, many netizens doubt the post's authenticity as the lineup of special guests seems too good to be true.

In fact, one Instagram user consistently replied to comments of other netizens, saying that the "LOTUS World Tour 2023" post is fake and that it was only posted to gain more IG followers.

On Reddit, one netizen commented that Within Destruction's announcement of the LOTUS World Tour 2023 is nothing but a meme post and that they just uploaded the photo to attract people's attention and get them interested in their music.

BLACKPINK, TWICE to Make a Comeback in August

In other news, BLACKPINK and TWICE are among the K-pop girl groups returning to the music scene this August.

On July 26, YG Entertainment announced that BLACKPINK are currently in the middle of shooting the music video for their new song. YG added that it will be the highest production that the company has ever spent.

Meanwhile, TWICE is confirmed to make a comeback on Aug. 26 with a new mini-album titled "Between 1&2." On the 26th, they dropped the tracklist- revealing that their upcoming album will feature seven songs including the title track "Talk That Talk."
