Here Are 7 Songs With Sequels
1. SHINee: 'Replay' - 'Love Sick' - 'Marry You'
SHINee is the best example if we are talking about K-pop songs with sequels. The "Noona Series" started when the quintet released their debut song, "Replay," in 2008, followed by "Love Sick" in 2015 and "Marry You" in 2021.
In the first song, the young man who wanted to love an older woman succeeded in dating his love interest in "Love Sick."
After 13 years, the young man turned into a fine man and showed an epic of proposing to the older lady turned lover in "Marry You."
2. NCT Dream: 'First Love Series'
NCT Dream, the junior of SHINee, also showed incredible "First Love Series," which contained four songs.
The story started in 2017 with the release of "My First and Last," which contains a confident teenager's confession. The second song is "Bye My First..." in 2019, which depicts the first breakup story, followed by 2020's "Love Again," the reunion with the teenager's first love.
The series was completed with the release of 2022's "To My First..." which contains a calm last greeting to the first love partner after repeatedly meeting and breaking up to realize the true feelings of love.
3. Heize: 'Happen' - 'Undo'
In 2021, Heize released her hit song, "Happen," which depicts the story of missed meetings and fateful encounters. The song piqued the curiosity about whether the two people who crossed paths were pre-destined or happened with just pure luck.
In 2022 then, "Undo" narrated the story about a meeting that eventually took place after passing through "you" and "me" in the past.
4. Brave Girls: 'We Ride' - 'After We Ride'
In 2020, Brave Girls released their track, "We Ride," with the thought of disbanding after the last release. The song then unfolds a story about a couple and their sad breakup.
With the sudden reverse-driving popularity of the group in early 2021, Brave Girls then decided to drop the city pop-inspired song, "After We Ride," in August of the same year. The song narrates the story that despite the sad breakup, it was due to it that they were able to find new love, so there's no need to be sad.
5. Red Velvet: 'Bad Boy' - 'Really Bad Boy'
In 2018, Red Velvet released their hip-hop, R&B, and trap track, "Bad Boy," which contains the attraction and emotions between a cold woman and a "bad boy."

6. IU: 'You & I' - 'Above the Time'
