Zico's agency KOZ Entertainment is currently in the process of creating a new boy group, which is slated to debut next year. The idol himself revealed this during his recent radio appearance. Continue reading to know what he said.
Zico's Agency to Debut New Boy Group That Isn't Limited to Any Genre in 2023
KOZ Entertainment, which is a subsidiary label of HYBE, is a record company that Block B Zico founded in January 2019 after leaving his former agency, Seven Seasons in late 2018.
At present, KOZ Entertainment is home to Zico along with soloist Dvwn and the project hip-hop group FANXY CHILD (where Zico is a member). So far, the agency has not launched a new idol group- but they are currently gearing up to debut one in 2023.

On Aug. 4, Zico guested on SBS Power FM's "Two O'Clock Escape Cultwo Show," together with K-pop girl group STAYC. He discussed various topics during the broadcast, including his company's preparation to launch a new boy group.
KOZ Entertainment's founder revealed, "We are preparing a new boy group. It's not a hip-hop group. We're trying to create a group that isn't limited to a specific genre."
When asked about the reason for not focusing on one certain genre, the male idol explained, "If we decided to go a different route, people might say that the color has changed from the previous one, so I'm trying to expand the genre; from the beginning."

Block B Zico revealed that KOZ Entertainment's new boy group is scheduled to debut next year, but there's no rapper yet.
"But I think the group needs a rapper to be colorful. I've been looking for a rapper for years, but I still can't find one. I think it's because my expectations for rappers are high," Zico stated.
This past June, KOZ Entertainment launched teen rapper auditions called "U18 In The Zungle" from June 15 to 30. As the title suggests, the company sought teen rappers under the age of 18.
However, it appears like the company has not found the perfect rapper to be part of its new boy group. As Zico mentioned during his "Cultwo Show" appearance, the team has no rapper yet.
