In the video, Lee Jinho recounted that Jessica appeared at the finale of "Sisters Who Make Waves 3" in China on August 5, the same day Girls' Generation was making a comeback. During the episode, there were many touching scenes.
However, the most touching part was when f(x)'s Krystal, Jessica's sister, sent her a video message.
In the video message, Krystal expressed how much she loved and missed her sister. Jessica shed tears, as did the other Chinese members on the show.
Jessica ultimately ranked second and is set to debut in a Chinese girl group. The former SNSD member gained popularity on the show due to her superior dancing and singing. She was also able to capture the hearts of fans with her sincerity.
Initially, Jessica was not that popular in China due to her previous legal battle, where she and her boyfriend Tyler Kwon were sued for 8 billion won. She was also criticized for having dual citizenship in Korea and the United States.
However, Jessica changed Chinese fans' minds and ended up placing 3rd in fan-voted popularity rankings for the show. With her newfound fame, Jessica is expected to earn a vast amount of money in the Chinese market.
How Much is Ex-SNSD Jessica Earning in China?
Lee Jinho noted that "Sisters Who Make Waves 3" is one of Mango TV's main shows. Thanks to its popularity, the show has run for three seasons and is expected to be renewed. Thanks to this season's popularity, the market cap of Mango TV jumped to 13 billion yuan in five days, which is 2.5 trillion won.
The members of the show are paid 450,000 yuan for each episode. This means Jessica, a top-ranking participant, will most likely earn 86 million won following her time on the show. Additionally, Jessica signed an agreement to continue working with Mango TV at the time of her appearance, meaning she is likely to appear in more of their show.
Jessica also signed a contract with MCN Agency in China. Her company helped her land a luxury brand advertisment for Valentino in July. Since then, Jessica has been working with various luxurious magazines for photoshoots.

Jessica's earnings are not expected to end at just advertising and appearance fee. She is a businesswoman and founder of the fashion brand Blanc & Eclare. During her time on the show, Jessia often wore her brand's products.
This attracted the attention of local fans. As a result, her brand is expected to gain momentum in China.
In China, there were articles stating, "Jessica must be surprised that it is so easy to make money in China." This shows that her previous lawsuit is now meaningless due to the amount she made in China.
