Ex-SNSD Jessica To Appear in Chinese Variety Show
According to local media reports, Jessica Jung is slated to appear in the Chinese entertainment program "Seaside of the Band." The program will air on Mango TV, which also aired "Sisters Who Mave Waves 3."

Filming for the show will start at the end of August with fellow "Sisters Who Make Waves" castmates Kelly Yu, Liu Yan, Zhao Meng, and Zhang Tian Ai.
"Seaside of the Band" will be 13 episodes, including the pilot, and will begin airing on Mango TV at the end of September. The premise of the program is similar to JTBC's "Sea of Hope," where cast members set up a live show on the beach. Some Chinese internet users have compared the program to tvN's "Youn's Kitchen."

The idol is fully pursuring a career in China. It is expected that the female idol will be active in China and the United States. Sadly, her activities in South Korea is still in question, as she has not appeared in any South Korean shows as a main cast member since her departure from Girls' Generation.

Jessica Jung competed in the audition program "Sisters Who Make Waves 3" in China. The program features female stars in their 30s or older. There, they compete to re-debut as a new girl group in China.

On September 30, 2020, Jessica released her debut novel, "Shine." The mentioned novel debuted at number five on The New York Times Best Seller List for Young Adult Hardcover. Jessica's novel is being developed into a film by Matthew Kaplan of ACE Entertainment.
