Where Is Yeeun Now? Status of Former CLC Member After Leaving CUBE

Prior to CLC's disbandment in May this year, some members of the girl group already left the team and CUBE Entertainment- including Jang Yeeun. She parted ways with the group and the agency in March, and there has been no update about her since. But recently, her whereabouts were revealed. Curious where former CLC Yeeun is now? Former CLC Yeeun's Activities Before Leaving CUBE Entertainment

Jang Yeeun debuted as a member of CUBE Entertainment's girl group, CLC, back on March 19, 2015. She has since been active in various fields, and through numerous albums, she showed off her ability to take on many different concepts. She received massive love and support from the fans for her incredible skills in both rapping and singing.

While she was a CLC member, Yeeun became one of the MCs for SBS's "The Show" (together with NCT Jeno and Yongguk). She hosted the show from May 22, 2018 to Nov. 26, 2019.

In May 2020, she competed on the survival show "Good Girl," which featured not only female idols but also underground rappers.

In the same year, Jang Yeeun participated in CLC's comeback with their new single "HELICOPTER." which came out on Sept. 2. This became the girl group's last music release as they went on a hiatus after that and eventually disbanded on May 20 this 2022, seven years after their debut. This made them one of the several K-pop groups that wasn't able to break K-pop's seven-year curse.

Why Did Yeeun Leave CUBE Entertainment?

On March 18, CUBE Entertainment announced that CLC Yeeun (along with Seungyeon) will leave the agency as her exclusive contract has come to an end.

Yeeun and Seungyeon were the third and fourth members to leave CLC and CUBE, following Elkie in February 2021 and Sorn in November 2021. Their departure was then followed by CLC's official disbandment.

Where Is Yeeun Now? Status of Former CLC Member After Leaving CUBE

At present, Jang Yeeun is a solo artist under Superbell Company. She just recently joined the agency.

On Aug. 11, a representative from Superbell Company told the media outlets that the former CLC member signed an exclusive contract with them. They added that they plan to give full support to the K-pop idol so that she can showcase her abilities in different fields including music.

Former CLC Yeeun is believed to be the only artist under Superbell Company to date.

On the same day, the solo artist shared behind-the-scenes photos of her during a pictorial for her official profile images as an artist of Superbell Company. Her official profile photos were also revealed on the label's social media accounts.

Meanwhile, the former CLC member has been active on social media since leaving CUBE Entertainment. Apart from uploading photos to her Instagram account, she also posts videos on her TikTok account, which she launched back in 2020.

Recently, she shared a TikTok video of her with her friends (including her former co-member Sorn).
