2022 The Fact Music Awards: First Lineup of Artists Revealed
On Aug. 18, the organizing committee of this year's The Fact Music Awards (TMA) announced the first batch of K-pop artists who confirmed their appearances at the award show.
Fans can expect TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT), THe Boyz, ITZY and IVE to be at the 2022 The Fact Music Awards. These four teams, who have always presented high-quality stages with stunning visuals and impressive vocals and dancing skills, are expected to leave fans speechless with epic performances at the event.

Additionally, these four K-pop groups continue to achieve remarkable feats with their new releases.
Last year, The Boyz became a half-million seller with their sixth mini-album "THRILL-ING." They also completed their first world tour since their debut in the first half of this year.
Then, their seventh mini-album "BE AWARE," which was released on Aug. 16, ranked first on iTunes Album charts in seven different countries, including Columbia, Azerbaijan, Chile, Turkey, Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia.
In July, ITZY's new mini-album "CHECKMATE" sold more than 470,000 copies in the first week, breaking the group's personal first-week sales record, and at the end of July, the cumulative sales reached 720,000 copies.
In addition, "CHECKMATE" debuted at No. 8 on Billboard 200, marking the quintet's highest rank on the chart to date.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER earned a "million-seller" title in just two days with their new mini-album "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" in May. This week, the album spent its 13th week on Billboard 200, extending its record as the longest-charting 2022 K-pop album on the chart.
IVE became a "monster rookie" as soon as they debuted in December of last year with "ELEVEN," which earned them a total of 13 music show trophies.
This year, their comeback song "LOVE DIVE" won 10 trophies, which means they now have a total of 23 music show wins within just seven months of debut.

Meanwhile, the upcoming 2022 The Fact Music Awards will be held at the KSPO Dome in Seoul on Oct. 8. This will mark the first time in three years that the award ceremony will take place with an in-person audience.
With the slogan, "SHINING FOR ARTISTS, EXCITING FOR FANS," the event is projected to highlight K-pop artists and bring joy to the fans.

2021 The Fact Music Awards Winners
During the 2021 The Fact Music Awards, BTS won the Daesang (Grand Prize) for the fourth time in a row, and also took home four other awards. Super Junior and trot singer Lim Young Woong each received three trophies, while SEVENTEEN and Hwang Chi Yeol each earned two.
