7 K-pop Groups That Consistently Released Bops: BLACKPINK, TWICE, More

BLACKPINK

Ever since BLACKPINK made their debut back on Aug. 8, 2016, the quartet has released several songs that all became global hits, either it's their solo work or a collaboration song. From their debut songs "Whistle" and "BOOMBAYAH" to their latest release "Ready for Love," BLACKPINK always lives up to the fans' expectations- and maybe even exceeds them.

BTS

BTS may have not gotten off to a great start like BLACKPINK, but they eventually found global fame. They started to get recognition overseas during their "Boy In Luv" promotions back in 2014 and have since gained more fans and even achieved numerous historic milestones. "Blood, Sweat & Tears," "Boy With Luv," "Dynamite," "Butter," and "Permission to Dance" are just a few of their group's smash hits.

TWICE

Another K-pop group that netizens think have consistently released bops is TWICE. The nine-member female group from JYP Entertainment achieved instant popularity with their debut song "Like Ooh-Ahh," which is notably the first K-pop debut track to reach 100 million views on YouTube. Their succeeding music releases- including "TT," "What Is Love?" "Likey," and more- were all well-received.

EXO

Also considered a global boy group, EXO also has many songs that achieved commercial success and even earned them multiple awards on music shows and major award ceremonies. In particular, both "Growl" and "Ko Ko Bop" received the "Song of the Year" award in different award shows. "Growl" is arguably EXO's most iconic song and is probably the track that led non-fans to the group.

Red Velvet

Red Velvet is another SM artist that had fans constantly fall in love with them through their songs. Not to mention, they earned the title "Summer Queen" for their summery hits like "Red Flavor" and "Umpah Umpah." But the quintet aims to become queens of the other seasons as well.

aespa

aespa, who has recently become a million-seller, was also named as a K-pop group that continuously released bops. No one would surely forget how the quartet took the world by storm with their debut song "Black Mamba" in November 2020. They have since been dropping tracks that are nothing but masterpieces.

SEVENTEEN

Like BTS, SEVENTEEN also didn't garner much attention when they debuted, probably because they were produced by Pledis Entertainment (which was still a small company at that time). But the 13-piece boy group managed to gain fame for their charms and synchronized dance movements, and of course, high-quality music. A few of their well-known songs are "Don't Wanna Cry," "Mansae," "Left & Right," and "Pretty U."
