With many of K-pop's 2nd-generation artists reuniting for a new release, fans daydream about their favorite groups coming back together to perform again.
This is why we compiled this list because we know you miss these groups so much!
2NE1
First on our list is YG Entertainment's first girl group, 2NE1. The four-member girl group debuted in 2009 and made waves in Korea and many other Asian countries. It is safe to say that they popularized the nickname "girl crush"!
With their unique vocals, incredible stage presence, and amazing performances, many Blackjacks (2NE1 fans) can't help but miss the group.
They have not officially disbanded yet but three of them are not in YG Entertainment anymore. All of them are active on their own, and they actually reunited for a Coachella performance, but fans wish for them to reunite for a new single or album.
4MINUTE
Another amazing girl group that can be categorized as "girl crush" is 4MINUTE. The five-membered girl group from CUBE Entertainment also debuted in 2009.
They released bops after bops and many other chart-topping songs like "Crazy" and "Mirror, Mirror"
It is such a shame that the talented girls were reduced to "HyunA and her back-up dancers" before they parted ways.

4NIAs have been wanting a group reunion ever since the incident because the group did not part ways amicably. However, fans are still hoping for a reunion in the future.
f(x)
This girl group from SM Entertainment debuted at the same time as the first two on the list. With their unique concepts and songs that were considered experimental, f(x) immediately rose to fame.
It is sad that SM Entertainment did not give more opportunities to f(x) as a group. Now, all the members have departed from the company and currently focus on their individual careers.
Their album "4 Walls" and "Pink Tape" are still some of the best-conceptualized albums in the K-pop industry.
Though it seems impossible for the whole group to reunite, MeUs are still waiting for the day that members Luna, Amber, Krystal, and Victoria come together.
INFINITE
INFINITE was launched by Woollim Entertainment launched in 2010, and they made waves in the 2010s for their super synchronized dance moves and powerhouse vocalists.

Wonder Girls
Another girl group on our list is one of the legendary girl groups that started the K-pop wave outside Korea, Wonder Girls!
Wonder Girls was one of the Korean groups that tried to make it in the west. While they were very popular in Korea, JYP brought them to America and released English singles, plus went on tours.

Now, Sunmi has a successful solo career while Sohee is an actress. This year, Sunye, their leader came back with a new album "Genuine."
Because of that, fans are hoping they can get a reunion performance or single album from the girls as a whole.
JYJ
Last but not the least is JYJ. The trio was former members of another legendary boy group from SM Entertainment, DBSK (TVXQ). Currently, Jaejoong, Junsu, and Yoochun all have solo careers.
Jaejoong will be coming back as a solo artist, and fans are hoping maybe JYJ can get together like the old times and perform again.
