The talk about BTS V and BLACKPINK Jennie dating started when a photo allegedly showing the two idols in a car together was uploaded online. The picture, which was said to be taken in May on Jeju Island, was met with skepticism, and many fans thought the image was photoshopped.
On Aug. 24, fans once again questioned the relationship between the two after a new photo of V and Jennie was uploaded by a Twitter user by the handle @gurumiharibo. It shows Jennie taking a photo of V in a waiting room.

"Please don't be fooled. The person doing Kim Taehyung's hair on his left has dark hair but the person in the mirror has yellow hair. This is edited. Please don't get fooled."
The Nate Pann user then shared what they claim to be the "original" pictures that were used to create the second image of V and Jennie in the BTS member's house. (See photos below)

Apart from sharing the "original" pictures, the Nate Pann user also pointed out that a Twitter user sent an email to the uploader (@gurumiharibo), and their response appears to say that BTS V and BLACKPINK Jennie's photos are indeed edited.
Since the uploader had included their email account on the images for copyright, Twitter user by the handle @Neon reached out to @gurumiharibo under a fake identity via email. In their email, they requested a fake edit of one C-pop girl group member and one Korean solo artist together, and alleged that they are willing to pay a high price for it in exchange.
