Not only women express their emotions very well in a song. Men are capable of doing it just as well. In K-pop, many vocalists do that when they sing songs, especially ballads. That is why we have written the boy group version of this article.
Here are some ballad songs from boy groups that are vocally hard.
SHINEE - 'Please Don't Go'
First on our list is this heart-wrenching song about someone singing to their loved one about wanting them to stay. Onew and Jonghyun were the only members that sang the song.
The two vocalists showed how great singers they are technically and emotions-wise as the music requires them to do that.
From their 2nd mini-album "Romeo," "Please Don't Go" is a ballad track that solidified the status of the two as talented vocalists.

EXO - 'Baby Don't Cry'
During their early years, EXO was in two units, the K and M. This song was sung by EXO-K with Baekhyun, DO, Suho, and Chanyeol.
This song proved how vocally-equipped the EXO members really are. Hitting high notes like it's normal Tuesday, Baekhyun and D.O. showed their skills and talents after performing it live on different occasions.

SEVENTEEN - 'Say Yes'
This boy group from Pledis Entertainment is home to two vocalists that are very skilled and recognized by many. DK and Seungkwan's song "Say Yes" from their album "Love & Letter" is one of their hardest songs.
The song "Say Yes" is a song about a previous lover that has now long forgotten them. So, the emotions in the song are also hard to portray as you need the experience to show it.
However, it does not look like it is hard for the two members if you see them singing it.

Beast (HIGHLIGHT) - 'When The Door Closes'
HIGHLIGHT, formerly known as BEAST, released their digital album "My Story" containing unit songs. HIGHLIGHT's Doojoon and Dongwoon were the ones who sang the ballad song "When The Door Closes".
This song is not only technically challenging but also needs emotions as the song is about a breakup. The two members showed their vocal prowess, even though they are not the main vocalist of their group.

ONEUS - 'Red Thread'
The first boy group created by RBW Entertainment, home to vocally recognized girl group MAMAMOO, ONEUS, is on our list since they also have amazing singers.
Their song "Red Thread" is one of their more vocally-challenging songs and they have performed it in their concert, live, while dancing, showing how they are vocally trained to sing hard songs while moving.

THE BOYZ - 'FLAG'
Another sad song on our list is the rookie boy group track THE BOYZ "FLAG" from their album "BREAKING DAWN". The mellow song that talks about raising one's flag for their loved one to remember them are sung beautifully by the 12-member boy group.
Sangyeon, one of their vocalists showed off his skills as he sang high notes after high notes at the end of the song.
