Shin Jimin Competes in 'The Second World' + Expresses Gratitude To Fans

Shin Jimin is one of the cast members of JTBC's newest competition show "The Second World," which aired on August 30 at 8:50 KST.

She had been confirmed as one of the competitors. The teaser video of her performance was also revealed with all of the other contestants.

Meanwhile, in an Instagram post, Jimin shared a photo of a flower bouquet with a long caption, expressing her heartfelt gratitude.

"Hello. This is Shin Jimin. I got a chance to show my stage again with JTBC . It's a moment I've been waiting for so long, but thinking about being on stage, I feel so nervous and lacking, so I'm very worried.

But with all my heart, I will do my best to show you and make you hear good music and performances. I will become a singer who works hard. Thank you so much to everyone who helped me get back on stage.

Thank you for the opportunity. I ask for a lot of love and interest in in which I'm participating with great sunbaes and hoobaes. The first broadcast today!"

How People Are Reacting To Shin Jimin's Comeback

With Shin Jimin's return, it was expected that she would receive various reactions from viewers and K-pop fans.

Over Instiz, people reacted positively to her Instagram post and her comeback to the Korean music industry. They also defended the former AOA rapper, and claimed that the bullying allegations were not true.

In the first episode of JTBC's "The Second World," all the contestants revealed themselves to the audience with a rap performance.

Shin Jimin will compete against seven other female rapper idols on the show as they showcase their singing talents.
