10 Best K-pop Leaders: Super Junior Leeteuk, TVXQ Yunho, More!

In every K-pop group, the members are assigned positions in which they will be in-charge of when it comes to performing, such as vocals, rap, dance, and the role of a leader. While groups can opt out in having a leader, most of them have one as they are the glue of the group and are essential in the members' well-being and improvement. And these are the idols who take on that responsibility!

For the entire month of August, the biggest K-pop voting site King Choice held a poll asking fans to vote for who they think is the best group leader in the industry. With 867,241 votes sent, here are the idol leaders that made it to the top ranks!

Super Junior Leeteuk Crowned as Best K-pop Leader

According to King Choice, Super Junior Leeteuk landed at No. 1 to be crowned as the best leader in K-pop. Out of the 867,241 votes in by K-pop enthusiasts, Leeteuk takes nearly half of the votes, amassing 417,414 votes. This is equal to 48.1 percent of the total votes.

Leeteuk made his debut as the leader of Super Junior back in November 2005. Besides being the leader of the group, Leeteuk is also responsible for being the sub vocalist and sub rapper of Super Junior.

Leeteuk became the leader of Super Junior at the young age of 22, and after nearly two decades in the industry, he became one of the best leaders in K-pop for being able to manage such a big group.

Despite the hurdles he had to face, in both his private and public life, Leeteuk was able to become an exemplary model for what a leader should be. And if you are a longtime Super Junior fan, you would understand how difficult being the group's leader can be!

TVXQ Yunho and BTS RM as Top 3 Best K-Pop Leaders

Following behind Leeteuk with a big gap is one-half of the duo TVXQ, Yunho! According to King Choice, Yunho amassed 25.5 percent of the total votes. This means that Yunho earned 221,492 of the votes for the entire month of August.

Yunho made his debut as the leader of TVXQ, that was back then a five member group with the current JYJ members, in December 2003 under SM Entertainment. In addition to his role as the leader, Yunho is also the main dancer, main rapper, vocalist, and center member of the group.

With 19 years of experience in the industry, Yunho became well-known for his leadership skills, especially with the immense popularity that came with TVXQ across Asia. And despite the issues that the group had to face over the years, such as losing half of its members, Yunho was able to remain calm and collected.

And finally, ranking No. 3 as the best K-pop leader is BTS' RM! For the month of August, RM took 6.5 percent of the votes, equaling 56,043 out of the 867,241 votes submitted by fans.

RM made his debut as the leader of BTS back in June 2013. Aside from that, RM also handles the role of main rapper of the group.
