On September 4, a post on the South Korean community forum TheQoo garnered massive attention after a user uploaded a video of Girls' Generation member YoonA crying at the group's 15th-anniversary fan meeting.
On September 3 at 7 PM (KST), all eight members of Girls' Generation gathered at the fan meeting "2022 Girls' Generation Special Event - Long Lasting Love." The event was held at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium (KSPO Dome) in Songpa-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the girl group's 15th anniversary.

On this day, the members performed their hit songs, such as "Genie," "Into The New World," "Gee," and "Holiday Night," after a long time.
During the end of the fan meeting, the members of Girls' Generation were seen waving at fans as they bid them farewell. As they said goodbye, YoonA was silently shedding tears as she waved.

Girls' Generation Recent Activities
On September 3, Girls' Generation held a sold-out fan meeting, "Long Lasting Love" at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena. There, the girl performed songs from their latest album as well as past hits such as "Into The New World," "Genie," and "Gee." The fan meeting was streamed on Beyond LIVE and finished with the girls promising they would get back together soon.

On July 25, it was announced that Girls' Generation would release their seventh Korean-language studio album, "FOREVER 1." The album was released digitally on August 5 and physically on August 8.
