NewJeans' Spotify Monthly Listeners Become Highest Among Fourth-Gen K-pop Groups
According to reports, NewJeans' number of monthly listeners on Spotify has reached 8,812,913 as of Sept. 10. They went on to surpass nine million monthly listeners on Sept. 12.
It took the girls only 37 days to hit eight million and 41 days to garner nine million monthly listeners on the platform, making them the fastest 4th gen K-pop girl group to achieve both feats.

Naturally, the quintet is now the 4th gen K-pop girl group with the most monthly listeners on Spotify, surpassing IVE with 7.7 million monthly listeners so far. Moreover, NewJeans' Spotify monthly listeners are now the highest monthly listeners on Spotify among fourth-gen K-pop groups, surpassing ENHYPEN with 8.53 million monthly listeners.
This milestone is even more amazing considering that NewJeans has only been in the music industry for less than two months and has only four songs released to date, and yet they are already gaining a great number of streams and listeners on one of the world's biggest music streaming sites.

In addition, NewJeans' Spotify monthly listeners are now the sixth-biggest figure among K-pop groups in history, following BTS (with 45 million), BLACKPINK (with 30 million), BTS Jungkook (with 19.5 million), TWICE (with 11.2 million), and BLACKPINK Lisa (with 10.1 million).
Furthermore, NewJeans is now the seventh female group in the world with the biggest Spotify monthly listeners, after BLACKPINK, Little Mix (with 29.4 million), Fifth Harmony (with 22.9 million), Destiny's Child (14.9 million), TWICE, and The Pussycat Dolls (with 9.28 million).
Meanwhile, their debut song "Attention" ranked 36th on Spotify's "Today's Top Hits" playlist on the 10th. "Today's Top Hits" is a playlist that introduces music and artists who are influential in the global market.

"Attention" also ranked 200th on the US Spotify Weekly Top Songs chart for the week of Sept. 2 to 8. After making history as the first debut song by a K-pop girl group to enter the US Daily Top Songs chart, "Attention" also now becomes the first debut song by a K-pop girl group to enter the US Spotify weekly chart.
Apart from the U.S, NewJeans' "Attention" also landed on the Spotify Global weekly chart and the weekly charts of 15 other countries including Korea, Japan, Canada, Australia, to name a few. Their other debut songs "Hype Boy" and "Cookie" also continue to receive great love in different regions.

NewJeans Attain Double Crowns on Circle Monthly Charts + Enters Weekly Charts
In other news, NewJeans have proven once again their immense popularity in South Korea as they earned double crowns on the Circle monthly charts.
In particular, NewJeans' "Attention" topped both the Circle Monthly Digital Chart (with over 122 million points) and the Circle Monthly Streaming Chart for August 2022. The new girl group also debuted at No. 5 on the monthly digital chart with "Hype Boy," which had over 91 million points.
"Attention" also made it to the Circle Monthly Download Chart at No. 4 and the Circle Monthly Global K-pop Chart at No. 2. "Hype Boy" also entered the latter at No. 3.
On the Circle Weekly Global K-pop Chart, NewJeans secured two spots in the top 5 with "Attention" and "Hype Boy" at No. 4 and No. 5 respectively.
Moreover, "Attention" and "Hype Boy" claimed No. 2 and No. 4 respectively on both the Circle Weekly Digital Chart and Circle Weekly Streaming Chart.
Finally, NewJeans debuted at No. 7 on the Circle Monthly Social Chart.
