At times,, it can be difficult to imagine some of our favorite K-pop idols having jobs outside of the entertainment industry. In fact, a lot of the popular K-pop idols we know now initially had no plans of debuting in the industry. But what if they didn't make their debut as an idol? What would they be doing now if they weren't famous?
Here are seven K-pop idols and what jobs they would have pursued if they didn't debut as an idol!
1. ASTRO MJ - Artist or architect
According to MJ, the ASTRO member would have been in the field of art or architecture had he not debuted as an idol. The reason he would have pursued the career is because of his love for creating new things, so naturally, he assumed that he would be in a profession that involves art.
2. STAYC Isa - Fashion industry
STAYC member Isa is known as the fashionista among her fellow members. So it's not a surprise that she would have pursued a career in the fashion industry had she not become an idol. But Isa ended up working hard to make her debut, all because of her dream to meet HyunA and be in the same industry as her!

3. BTS Jimin - Police officer
BTS' resident mochi Jimin had a lot of career paths he could have taken, given his amazing skills in both singing and dancing. However, he surprised fans and his fellow BTS members when he revealed that he could have been a police officer since he wanted to be one when he was a kid.
4. EXO D.O. - Chef
If he wasn't a member of EXO, D.O. revealed that he would have pursued a career as a chef due to his love for cooking! In fact, he enjoys cooking so much that he has never considered another career path aside from becoming an idol. Not only that, but D.O. also loves to eat, so it's a win-win!
5. MAMAMOO Solar - Flight attendant
Solar is know for her powerful and amazing vocals, so she might have been a good fit as a flight attendant! According to the idol, her original dream when she was younger was to become a flight attendant. However, she thought that it might not have been the right career for her. A career in Korean medicine would have been possible too, as her mother wanted her to become a doctor.

6. NCT Jaehyun - Theme park designer
Before making his debut as a member of NCT, Jaehyun had shared his love for theme parks in the past. In fact, he loves theme parks so much that he considered becoming a theme park designer. He even liked to draw attractions that can be found at theme parks when he was younger.
7. BLACKPINK Jennie - Zookeeper
The BLACKPINK members are known for their love for animals, with each of them having several pets which they have introduced to the public. With her love for animals, Jennie had once dreamt of being a zookeeper when she was younger. In particular, she wanted to take care of pandas!
