If you are a fan of Arirang's "After School Club," you definitely know the bubbly and opinionated Park Jimin. She hosted the show for many years since 2015, and left just in August this year.
Because of her job as the MC, she was once rumored to be romantically involved with former U-KISS member, Kevin. The idol even refuted it on Eric Nam's YouTube how "K-pop Daebak" together with Jamie herself. The three just laughed at the thought of the two dating.
But did you know that in 2019, she was linked to another man? She was seen hanging out with a group of people and THIS rapper. So, fans speculated that they are linked and are in a relationship.
Jamie Rumored To Be in a Relationship With THIS Rapper
There were multiple Instagram posts from the people Jamie hung out with, and one of them is MaseWonder.
MaseWonder is a rapper and singer who debuted in 2015 under the Early Nerds Agency. He has been active in the music industry ever since he debuted and released a number of solo songs, and had collaborated with other singers like MiZone, too.
Fans don't know how the two got together or how they became friends but in the Instagram posts, they sure do look close.
Jamie's fans tried to advise others from spreading rumors since they are unfounded and none of their business. Some comments also said:
"Two people that are seen out alone or with a group doesn't prove that they're dating. They could be, but hanging out isn't enough proof of anything... Regardless though, Jimin's happiness is great to see and regardless of whether she's dating or not, if she's smiling, that's all that matters!"
Jamie did not really comment on the rumor about her dating the rapper. In fact, she also kept silent on any dating rumor that she was involved with.
How Jamie Park Started
Jamie Park was the first winner of SBS' "K-pop Star." She was first introduced together with Baek Yerin by JYP Entertainment as the duo 15&.
Their debut song "I Dream" did not receive as much traction as when Jamie was in "K-pop Star." She made her solo debut in 2015 with the single track "Hopeless Love" still under JYP Entertainment. Her last song under the agency was "Stay Beautiful".
She also joined MNET's "Good Girl" variety competition show were she performed with other female soloists like Ailee and rapper Cheetah.
According to an interview with South China Morning Post, She was both tired but somehow happy because that show widen her group of friends.
After that, she left JYP entertainment and went to Warner Music Korea. She has changed her music style and has been freer about her activities.
Currently, she is scheduled to have a comeback this September with "One Bad Night" and will embark on a tour in the U.S. with the same name.
