BTS V Opens Up on Relationships, Time He Got Hurt After Experiencing THIS

Amid dating rumors with BLACKPINK Jennie, BTS V candidly revealed more about his relationships, including his connection with ARMYs.

BTS V Defines Relationship With People, Encounters That Hurt Him in the Past

On September 19, Vogue Korea released V's pictorial and subsequent interviews on the outskirts of New York, USA. The magazine preview truly attracted huge attention as it was the male idol's first solo photoshoot in about 10 years since his debut.

In the photos, V proved he's a fashion icon, perfectly digesting various 'fits and jewelry that emphasized his elegance and visuals behind the backdrop of nature. At the same time, Vogue also released a written interview with the "Butter" singer during the photo shoot, dishing on his real thoughts and feelings about relationships.

When asked about what relationship means, V genuinely answered:

"I tend to cherish relationships with people. Originally, I am a people person, and I truly enjoy working with everyone that I encounter including the artists, directors, writers, and reporters."

In particular, the idol correlates this personality of him to the fact that he often initiates contact with other artists, despite being a top celebrity who is constantly surrounded by a lot of people.

Although this is one of his incredible attributes, V confessed the time he got hurt due to his personality, adding:

"In the past, I was rather more reserved because I was hurt by people who treated me simply as V for personal connection, and not as a friend."

But being the bigger person, V didn't change:

"Despite it, I still like people. The people who are next to me now are the precious people who made me who I am now."

In the interview, the "Life Goes On" singer was also asked about his calm personality, although he most likely experienced unexpected situations. In response, V clarified:

"I may look relaxed, but honestly, I don't feel calm all the time. I'm just pretending. Instead, I was able to think correctly.

I confidently act with the belief that my decision is the best for the situation even if my idea is not the ideal answer. There is a feeling of responsibility for everything that I do, but I don't regret my actions."

The idol then expressed his desire to become a good person for the people loving him. He stated:

"I think I should act beautifully for those who love me. Even when I get hurt and have a hard time, I am healthy and happy thanks to ARMY (fandom name), members, family, and friends."

In regards to his future activities outside BTS, V mentioned ARMYs again and pointed out that he wants to try radio DJing because that's what his fans want him to try.

Finally, V said about the pressure he had to have as a BTS member:

"I was very grateful that ARMYs understood our feelings properly. Thanks to you, I've relieved my burden a little bit."
