GOT7 Jackson's 'MAGIC MAN' Debuts on Billboard 200 & Scores Idol's Highest Entry on Chart
On Sept. 19 local time, Billboard revealed the debuts on the Billboard 200, the chart that ranks the most popular albums in the United States, for the week ending on Sept. 24.
According to the tweet, GOT7 Jackson's "MAGIC MAN" took No. 15, achieving the male idol's highest debut on Billboard 200. This also marks the artist's second entry on the tally, following his first solo album "Mirrors" which entered at No. 32 in 2019.

According to Hits Daily Double, "MAGIC MAN" sold a total of 26,417 copies during the tracking week. The sum includes 24,758 pure album sales.
Aside from entering this week's Billboard 200, GOT7 Jackson's "MAGIC MAN" also came in at No. 3 on the latest Billboard Top Album Sales chart. It is one of the only two albums by a K-pop artist in the top 5, along with TWICE's "BETWEEN 1&2."
"MAGIC MAN" follows Jackson's journey as he looks for himself in an alternative reality, running under the laws of temptation, confusion, and mystery. It consists of 10 songs including the title track "Blue."

Released on Sept. 9, "MAGIC MAN" reached the top spot on iTunes Album charts in a total of 36 countries within the first 24 hours of its release, including Hong Kong, Brazil, Malaysia, Argentina, Mexico, Singapore, Chile, the Philippines, Vietnam, and more.
GOT7 Jackson's "MAGIC MAN" also managed to enter the top 5 in the United States and to debut at No. 2 on the Worldwide iTunes Album chart.
Moreover, the title song "Blue" hit No. 1 on iTunes Song charts in at least 20 different regions, including Fiji, Thailand, Turkey, Argentina, and more. It also landed at No. 10 on the Worldwide iTunes Song chart.

Notably, all 10 songs off "MAGIC MAN" successfully entered the Worldwide iTunes Song chart. The other nine tracks made it to the top 120.

GOT7 Jackson's Other Activities This 2022
In addition to the release of his full album "MAGIC MAN," GOT7 Jackson had other activities in the past months.
On April 16, Jackson performed at Coachella, becoming the first Chinese music artist to perform at the music festival as part of 88rising. He performed his solo songs "100 Ways," "Blow," and "Cruel." He also met former 2NE1 member CL, who also performed at the event, at that time.
On July 12, the GOT7 member held a one-hour long show at Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, opening the football match between Manchester United and Liverpool. In one of his performances, he was joined by Thai solo artist MILLI for their new song "Mind Games."
Other than that, Jackson also teamed up with the Singapore Tourism Board for the SingapoReimagine global marketing campaign, which involves showcasing the island's various destinations.
