BTS Jimin Reveals He Got a Tattoo After Seeing an ARMY's Fanart
Recently on September 18, BTS member Jimin held a live broadcast through the global fan community platform Weverse, where he had a casual chat with his fans, ARMYs, about what he has been up to lately.
In particular, Jimin talked about one of his many tattoos during the broadcast. He mentioned how he initially had only one tattoo on his back, the crescent moon that can be seen at the back of his neck.
However, after his fellow BTS member V showed him a fanart made by an ARMY of him with the five moon phases going down his spine, it eventually inspired him to get more tattoos! This time, he added the other four moon phases similar to the fanart.
"Everyone, there is a moon tattoo on my back, as you know. Taehyung (V) sent me the [fanart] photo while saying, 'Jimin, check this out.' I said, 'Wow, it is so pretty and well drawn.' And I went and did [the rest of] my tattoo just like it," Jimin revealed.
The BTS member added, "Initially, there had only been one moon [tattoo] on my back. But now there is five."
After revealing that he has a spine tattoo, he then tried to playfully show the fans who joined the broadcast the tattoo by pulling back his shirt collar and angling himself towards the camera. However, he had a difficult time showing the tattoo.
