Jay B recently made a comeback with his "Be Yourself" album, which features the title song "go UP." Shortly after its release, the EP swept the top spot of iTunes charts around the world, together with his new tracks.
Jay B 'Be Yourself' Album & 'go UP' Ranks #1 on iTunes Charts + First-Day Sales
On Sept. 21 at 6 p.m. KST, Jay B's "Be Yourself" album officially dropped alongside the music video for "go UP." The EP also features five B-side songs including his collab with Sik-K, titled "Break It Down."
After its release, it only took the mini-album just a few hours to score No. 1 on iTunes Album charts across the globe. As of approximately 5:20 a.m. KST on Sept. 22, "Be Yourself" had ranked first in at least 38 different countries including Argentina, Brazil, Thailand, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Lithuania, Oman, Peru, Sudi Arabia, Venezuela, and more.

At the same time, the title track "go UP" had also hit No. 1 on iTunes Song charts in at least 26 different regions, including Colombia, El Salvador, Turkey, Paraguay, Malaysia, Kenya, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Dominican Republic, and more.
Not only that, Jay B's "Be Yourself" album also landed on the No. 1 spot on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart and No. 3 on the European iTunes Album Chart. It even peaked at No. 6 on the U.S iTunes Album chart.

"go UP" even took No. 9 on the Worldwide iTunes Song chart and No. 46 on the European iTunes Song chart. The B-side songs also made it to the worldwide chart: "Livin'" at No. 121, "Fountain of Youth" at No. 139, "Holyday" at No. 145, "Break It Down" at No. 151" and "The Way We Are" at No. 163.
These feats just go to show Jay B's widespread popularity as a solo artist. He may continue to secure No. 1 on iTunes album and song charts in the following days considering that his previous albums "LOVE" and "SOMO:FUME" topped in 53 countries and 49 regions respectively.

Meanwhile, in South Korea, Jay B's "go UP" climbed up to No. 1 on Genie's real-time chart at 1 a.m. KST on the 22nd. It also debuted at No. 64 on Bugs Top 100 and No. 70 on MelOn at 7 p.m. KST on the 21st.
Regarding the first-day sales of Jay B's "Be Yourself" album, a total of 11,487 copies were sold on the Hanteo Chart. Sadly, this figure is almost half of his first-day sales with "SOMO: FUME." Still, the numbers would probably increase in the coming days.

GOT7 Jay B's Upcoming Activity
In other news, Jay B is set to embark on his first solo world tour called "Tape: Press Pause." The first part of this tour will take place in Asia.
CDNZA Records has previously revealed the dates and stops in Asia. He will head to Manila, Philippines on Oct. 1, Bangkok, Thailand on Oct. 15 and 16, Jakarta, Indonesia on Oct. 22, and Japan on Nov. 2.
Prior to heading to these cities, the GOT7 member will first hold a concert in Seoul on Sept. 24 at the Yes24 Live Hall.
