BTS J-Hope Shows Friendship With Crush & IU

In "IU's Palette" Episode 15, IU had the male solo R&B singer Crush as a guest. Fresh from the military discharge, he released the digital single "Rush Hour" with BTS J-Hope and promoted it on the show.

In the middle of the show, IU shared that the BTS member told her to take good care of Crush. For this, J-Hope sent snacks to IU's staff after finding out that his friend will be on it.

After knowing this, Crush was really touched.

He shared that J-Hope sent his flowers and a chocolate crushed cake. He added that his friend always surprises him whenever they meet. He thought that it is one of the reasons why the BTS member is famous.

He continued telling a story when J-Hope called him at 1:50 in the morning to talk about their collaboration. He also shared that the BTS main dancer continued watching his old performances and kept listening to his songs as a way to study him as an artist.

He was so touched by the gesture and thought that the "Chicken Noodle Soup" singer is indeed a superstar. He then thanked J-Hope by bowing for him.

IU Praises Crush After His Live Performance of 'Rush Hour'

Nearing the end of the show, Crush performed his latest digital single on "IU's Palette". He showed a good performance, which made the band and IU herself jam with him.

IU was raising her hands up and down to the beat of the song as it was super groovy and addictive. After performing, Crush even said that he still has so much energy. He shared that he let all of his agonies out in the performance. He even made IU stand up and join him. Crush thanked the band because they were really good.

IU was proud of her show's band because they performed really well and were also grooving with the singer. The "Sometimes" singer was also proud of his first live performance and said that he really gave it his all since he can't do performances while he was in the army.

Crush & J-Hope's 'Rush Hour' Tops Worldwide iTunes Song Chart

Meanwhile, for the first time in his career, Crush achieved his first-ever number-one song on the Worldwide iTunes song chart. The solo singer posted in his story evidence that he was shocked because he only put question marks in it.

According to My Daily, "Rush Hour" topped different iTunes song charts in more than 41 countries like the Philippines, Indonesia, Mexico, Brazil, and Chile a while ago, September 23, Korean time.

Moreover, it also entered the top 10 in different places like the United States, Japan, and the U.K. It placed 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectively.
