NMIXX's 'ENTWURF' Records 7th Highest First-Week Sales Among Girl Group Albums of 2022

NMIXX's "ENTWURF" has recorded the seventh-highest first-week sales on the Hanteo Chart among K-pop girl group albums released in 2022. Continue reading to learn how many copies the rookie group sold.

NMIXX "ENTWURF" First Week Sales Figure Is 7th Highest Among 2022 K-pop Girl Group Albums

Last week, NMIXX made their first comeback with their new single album "ENTWURF." The album contains the title song "DICE" and the B-side song "COOL (Your rainbow)."

On Sept. 26, Hanteo News announced that NMIXX's first-week sales (Sept. 19 to 25) with "ENTWURF'' reached a total of 442,207 copies- almost doubling their previous first-week sales record of 227,399 copies set by their debut album "AD MARE."

Notably, JYP Entertainment's new girl group broke that record in just one day. "ENTWURF" sold a total of 250,661 copies on the day of its release (Sept. 19).

"ENTWURF" is now the album by a JYP artist released this year with the fourth-biggest first-week sales, surpassing TWICE Nayeon's "IM NAYEON," which only sold 252,903 copies.

On top of that, NMIXX's "ENTWURF" first-week sales figure is now the seventh-highest total among K-pop girl group albums released in 2022. This record was previously held by IVE's "LOVE DIVE," which sold 338,130 copies last April.

The only other albums to sell more are BLACKPINK "BORN PINK" (1,542,950 copies), aespa "Girls" (1,126,068 copies), IVE "After LIKE" (929,407 copies), TWICE "BETWEEN 1&2" (532,622 copies), ITZY "CHECKMATE" (472,395 copies), and Red Velvet "The ReVe Festival 2022- Feel My Rhythm" (443,922 copies).

Furthermore, on the Top 100 list of highest first-week sales of K-pop albums in history, "ENTWURF" has landed on the No. 63, taking the spot from WANNA ONE's 2018 album "1¹¹=1 (POWER OF DESTINY)" that sold 438,300 copies.

NMIXX Reveals How They Practice Live Singing on JTBC's "K-909"

In the first episode of JTBC's new entertainment show "K-909," NMIXX was one of the guests. The new JYP girl group kicked off the show with a cover of BoA's "No.1." They also performed their comeback song "DICE," and also sat down for a talk segment with BoA (the host of the program).

During the talk, NMIXX was asked how they acquired their strong live performance skills. Member Kyujin revealed that they were able to practice their live singing by performing a congratulatory song at weddings.

She shared, "That day is a once in a lifetime event for the bride and groom, so we did our best not to mess up, and that helped us practice our live singing a lot."

Meanwhile, NMIXX's "DICE" continuously ranks on major domestic charts even after weeks since its release. At 1 p.m. KST on Sept. 26, the song placed No. 18 on Bugs, No. 85 on FLO, No. 97 on MelOn Top 100, and No. 124 on Genie.

The rookie group also reached a new peak in terms of unique listeners on MelOn. They currently have more than 68,000 unique listeners.
