On Sept. 26, the production team of MBC's radio show "Kim Eana's Starry Night" announced on their official Instagram account that BTS V has been chosen as a special DJ.

According to their post, V also known as Kim Taehyung will host the said radio program for two consecutive days, from Sept. 27 to 28. BTS V will join Park Hyo Shin, who was first selected as a special DJ. Park previously hosted the radio show from Sept 26 to Oct. 2 last year when Kim Eana took a week off for the first time since "Starry Night" started airing. Reportedly, the two will fill in for Kim Eana, who is going on another short vacation.

Kim Eana left a comment under the post, saying, "Those who followed, please don't unfollow even after a week."

For starters, Park Hyo Shin is a famous South Korean ballad singer and musical theater actor recognized for his emotional vocals. He has won numerous awards for his songs and performances in various major award shows, like Mnet Asian Music Awards, Seoul Music Awards, and Golden Disc Awards.

Taehyung is known to be a fan of Park Hyo Shin and has shared his love for the musical actor on multiple occasions in the past. For instance, he shared Park's song "Sound of Winter" on his Instagram story with the caption, "I'm desperate for a new song" last January.

In the past few months, BTS V and Park Hyo Shin have been displaying their close friendship. In January, the "Dynamite" singer shared several clips of him hanging out with Park and singing together through his Instagram account (@thv).

Then, in July, V attended a musical starring Park Hyo Shin, particularly "The Man Who Laughs." The musical actor revealed the BTS member's attendance by uploading a photo of them together backstage to his Instagram account.

"Kim Eana's Starry Night," in which BTS V and Park Hyo Shin will act as special DJs for two days, airs every day at 10:05 p.m. KST.

Taehyung's Performance in BTS' "Yet to Come (Hyundai Version)" Gets Compared to Popular Movie

On Sept. 23, BTS partnered with Hyundai to release a special version of their latest song "Yet to Come" for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar later this year.

The music video honors Hyundai's "Goal of the Century" campaign while BTS sings and raps on a rooftop with amazing views. Clips of people around the world watching soccer games are also featured in the MV.

As soon as the MV was out, BTS V became a hot topic for his flawless visuals and dynamic performance. He showed off his impressive vocal skills, as usual, but his acting gained more attention.

In one scene, he sings his heart out while strong winds blow around him. One clip featuring that scene went viral on Twitter and accumulated 700,000 views in one day.

The scene reminded some fans of a popular musical film, specifically "High School Musical" and fans couldn't help but compare BTS V with the movie character Troy Bolton.
