While K-pop fans are becoming more open to idols dating, it still remains a controversial topic, especially if the idol is still actively promoting as one. But in recent years, there have been more and more K-pop idols who aren't afraid to find love and start their own family despite the "scandal" it can cause.
With that, here are some of the currently active K-pop idols who have tied the knot and are proud parents!
1. FTISLAND Minhwan
FTISLAND's drummer Minhwan confirmed his romantic relationship with former LABOUM member Yulhee in September 2017, and over a year later, tied the knot in October 2018. Months after their wedding, Minhwan and Yulhee welcomed their first child, a son, in May 2018. The two also happily welcomed a set of twin daughters in February 2020.
Although Yulhee is no longer active as an idol, both Minhwan and Yulhee's family life can be seen in the reality show Mr. House Husband.
2. BIGBANG Taeyang
Legendary idol and BIGBANG member Taeyang has been in a relationship with actress Min Hyo Rin since 2013. The couple officially married in February 2018 in a private ceremony attended by family, friends, and celebrities. After more than three years of marriage, Taeyang and Min Hyo Rin shared the exciting news that they were expecting their first child together in September 2021. Three months later, Taeyang and Min Hyo Rin welcomed their son in December of that year.

3. EXO Chen
Back in January 2020, EXO member Chen announced that his non-celebrity girlfriend was pregnant, and that the two would be getting married in a private wedding ceremony with their families. Although it was not revealed when he and his wife got married, the two welcomed their first child, a daughter, in April of that year. After nearly two years, Chen and his wife welcomed their second child in January 2022.
4. 2PM Chansung
Back in December 2021, 2PM member Chansung announced his marriage to his girlfriend of five years, a non-celebrity who is eight years older that him. At the same time, he also announced that the couple were expecting their first child. Chansung officially became a father in July 2022 after welcoming a daughter.
5. iKON Bobby
iKON's rapper Bobby surprised everyone when he unexpectedly announced through his social media back in August 2021 that he was getting married to his non-celebrity girlfriend. At the same time, he also announced that they were expecting their first child together. A month later, Bobby's agency YG Entertainment confirmed that Bobby and his soon-to-be-wife welcomed their first child, a son, in September of that year.
