The user claims Liz once said her thyroid is bad in their post. If someone has a bad thyroid, it is possible to gain weight despite how much one eats. As Liz has suddenly gained weight over the group's "LOVE DIVE" promotions, many believe her thyroid issue worsened.
During IVE's early debut days, Liz (along with Jang Wonyoung and Ahn Yujin) appeared in "Baek Jong Won's Alley Restaurant." During her appearance, Liz proudly proclaimed that she loves to eat spicy food.

However, when IVE appeared on "Omniscient Interfering View," Liz had to order different food from the girls because she said she was unable to eat spicy food. This sparked concern that her thyroid issue has worsened to the point where Liz can no longer eat spicy food.
Many noted that people with hyperthyroidism are known to be unable to eat spicy food and tend to gain weight on their faces.

In the post, the user expressed sympathy for Liz. They stated that if she is sick, then it is wrong for people to curse and insult the idol for her weight gain. Others shared that they gained weight due to their thyroid issue, and even with medicine and constant check-ups, it is hard to manage.
Currently, it is unknown whether IVE Liz's condition has indeed worsened or not.
