Crush's Instagram stories led people to wonder whether he was targeting ITZY Ryujin, who was recently criticized after she mentioned his relationship with Red Velvet Joy during a live broadcast.
Did Crush Comment on ITZY Ryujin's V Live Incident? Idol's IG Stories Gain Attention
On Oct. 5, Crush created several Instagram stories containing various quotes. Crush wrote:
"Happiness is an attitude. No matter how you look, kindness makes you the most beautiful person in the world."
"You should learn to be gentle, love and forgive yourself. Only those who treat themselves with the right attitude can treat others in the right way."
"Happiness is an attitude."
Following this, one netizen created a post on the online forum Nate Pann titled "Crush is targeting Ryujin?" and attached screenshots of the male idol's Instagram stories.

On Oct. 4, ITZY Ryujin held a live broadcast via Naver's V LIVE, and was joined by her co-members Yeji and Lia later on.
At one point when she and Yeji were alone, Ryujin read out a comment referring to Crush. When Yeji did not understand what the comment meant, Ryujin, in front of their fans watching, told Yeji, "Because [Crush] is dating Joy sunbaenim."
She soon received criticism for her unmindful behavior in mentioning another female idol's relationship in front of millions of fans. And the full version of their V Live broadcast was deleted.

The Nate Pann post was seen by more than 173,000 netizens, and earned various comments, such as the following:
"She has nothing to say even if Crush targets her. Crush and Joy must have been so annoyed."
"What kind of idol is crazy enough to talk about another idol sunbae's relationship? She was thoughtless and ITZY fans were attacking Crush with curses, so I think Crush is targeting Ryujin."
"Crush also uploaded something like this when he received hate after he was discharged from the military. So I think he is addressing the issue regarding Ryujin."
"If I were a celebrity, I would hate it if someone talked about my relationship, and a company junior at that too? Lol."
"Are Ryujin and Joy even close? Joy is the biggest victim here."

Crush's "Rush Hour" Climbs Up Billboard Charts
In other news, Crush's "Rush Hour" (featuring J-Hope) has risen on various Billboard charts for the week ending on Oct. 8.
While "Rush Hour" climbed up to No. 1 on the World Digital Song Sales chart, it jumped up 23 spots to No. 5 on the Digital Song Sales chart. On the contrary, the song went down to No. 6 on the Hot Trending Songs chart this week.

Additionally, Crush's "Rush Hour" (featuring J-Hope) debuted at No. 76 on the Global Excl. U.S chart and No. 102 on the Global 200. This is the first time Crush has ever landed on the Global Excl. U.S. chart while it's the third time for J-Hope as a solo artist.
