He first became a trainee under Yuehua Entertainment before joining BELIFT LAB. In 2017, he was a representative of Yuehua in Mnet's popular survival show "Produce 101" (Season 2). He was still using his original name at that time. Unfortunately, he was eliminated in the fifth episode and only finished in 79th place.
Seon was then revealed on June 4, 2020 as one of the contestants in the CJ ENM and Big Hit Music's then upcoming survival show "I-LAND."
Choi Seon's Journey on Mnet's "I-LAND"
In episode 1, Seon was the first one to perform and he gave a solo cover of GOT7's "Lullaby." He was able to enter "I-LAND" with 22 votes from the other contestants. However, in Episode 6, he was voted to be sent to the "Ground." This came after the first mission, which is to perform the survival show's theme song "Into the I-LAND" by IU.
During the second mission, Seon along with the other participants performed a remix of BTS' "Fire." Then, in the third mission, he didn't participate in any battle as the contestants only chose a few team members to represent the group in the Vocal and Dance battles.

What Happened to Former "I-LAND" Contestant Seon? Here's What We Know
One month after "I-LAND" ended (October 2020), Choi Seon opened an Instagram account. This led to many fans assuming that he had left BELIFT LAB. This may probably be true as he now has a different career.
At present, former "I-LAND" contestant Choi Seon is now a member of the South Korean producing team CIELOGROOVE under the name ON. It is said that this team was founded in 2021 and has a total of 11 members.
As part of CIELOGROOVE, Seon has created several works already. Those include "U" from the "CIELOGROOVE Project Vol.1" album wherein he is credited as a songwriter and composer. He also composed a track from the "CIELOGROOVE Project Vol.2" album, titled "Yellow."
