Red Velvet Seulgi Reveals She Likes THIS 4th-Gen Girl Group
In the episode, Seulgi was comfortable talking to Jonathan, the host of "K Star Next Door," and they talked about a lot of things. Seulgi also showed her mini-talents and skills, proving she is not a "no-jam" or "no-fun."
As the show went on, they talked about younger girl groups. Then, Jonathan asked Seulgi if she has a girl group that she is keeping tabs on, and she answered that it's aespa!
Seulgi revealed she got interested in the girl group after working with Winter and Karina in their own girl group Girls on Top.
Earlier this year, they released the song "Got the BEAT," along with other established female idols from SM Entertainment: her co-member Wendy, Girls' Generation Taeyeon and Hyoyeon, plus the legendary solo singer BoA.
Then, Jonathan asked if she has anything to say to her juniors and Seulgi said she has none because she is not in the position to do so.
Red Velvet Seulgi Reveals MBTI Type
Seulgi revealed on the show that her MBTI is ISFP, or The Pacifist, and that she does not like getting angry. However, Jonathan asked her if that was true because she has a photo of Seulgi doing the middle finger sing.
The photo made Seulgi laugh because it was an accident that happened when she was singing the encore after winning number one at a music show with Irene.
She also told a story about how she and the other Red Velvet members fought after Jonathan asked if she ever had fights with them.
According to Seulgi, they do fight since they live with each other. However, all fights are verbal and not physical. Also, she said that they never show fans that they are fighting since it can cause misunderstanding and ReVeluvs might worry about them.
In addition, Seulgi told a story about how when she was still a trainee, she got so mad and scolded other trainees that are not taking their training seriously.
She continued the story by saying she was not shouting at them or talking coldly when she was scolding the trainees. Seulgi was actually crying loudly because her concern was too much for them.
Since the idol trained for more than seven years, she saw many other aspiring idols come and go in the company.
Moreover, Jonathan also said that there is a story about Seulgi getting angry with a classmate. The Red Velvet member then clarified that it was not bullying. It was actually Seulgi who helped a classmate being bullied. She stated that she does not like it when people alienate other people for no reason.
