As of 2021, there are around 85 million Koreans all over the world. Of those millions of people, the most common surnames are Kim (10.7 million), Lee (7.3 million), and Park (4.2 million). These three surnames make up somewhat half of the Korean population as of 2020, so it's no wonder many K-pop idols have these as their last name. Still, there are some artists with surnames that are so rare they are shared by not more than 35,000 Koreans worldwide.

Rounding out our list is BLOCK B P.O, whose real name is Pyo Jihoon. He is a rapper, singer, actor, and the maknae of his group. He shares his unique surname, Pyo, with an estimated number of 30,749 Koreans.
