LE SSERAFIM Yunjin Sought Motivation From THIS K-pop Artist When She Was in America

LE SSERAFIM's main vocalist, Heo Yunjin, previously shared a chunk of her life while living in the United States. According to her, being a Korean American in the United States was challenging as she experienced existential crisis episodes, to the point of questioning her "identity."

For the 33rd episode of Leemujin Service, LE SSERAFIM's Korean American girl was invited. Aside from performing songs like ANTIFRAGILE, Slow, NAPPA, and Our Summer, the idol also shared a conversation with the host, which revolved around topics like how she started singing opera, her living experience in the United States, and her love for music.

First, the vocalist emotionally unraveled how living in America made her question her identity. Yunjin mentioned that questioning her identity resulted in "feeling like a nobody."

Whenever experiencing such, Yunjin found comfort with music, building an enthusiastic bridge between her and music.

"That's why I liked music. Through music, I was able to find myself and understand who I am. But it was hard for me to find Koreans in the American music industry. So although I thought that music is the only way for me to find myself, it made me wonder if I can really find myself."
