On Nov. 4, the Melon Music Awards revealed the nominees for this year's award ceremony, which is scheduled to take place on Nov. 26 at 6 p.m. KST. The artists who released music between Nov. 8, 2021 and Nov. 3, 2022 were qualified for this year's show.

How to Vote for 2022 Melon Music Awards (MMA)
To vote for the 2022 Melon Music Awards, one must have a verified Melon account or a Kakao ID/Korean phone number. Voting is now open on the MMA's official website and will last until Friday, Nov. 18.

Criteria for 2022 Melon Music Awards (MMA)
The winning criteria for 2022 MMA includes digital streaming scores, voting scores and judges' evaluations. Below is the breakdown for some of the categories.
- Top 10 - Digital music score (80%) + Votes (20%)
- Artist of the Year - Digital music score (60%) + Judging (20%) + Votes (20%)
- Album of the Year - Digital music score (60%) + Judging (20%) + Votes (20%)
- Netizen Popularity Award - Digital music score (40%) + Votes (60%)
- Best Group - Digital music score (60%) + Judging (20%) + Votes (20%)
Other awards that are not included in the online voting, such as Record of the Year and Music Video of the Year, will be based solely on Melon performance and judges' evaluations.
