Kang Daniel Receives Hate Despite Apologizing for THIS Mistake on 'Street Man Fighter'
On Nov. 9, Kang Daniel's agency KONNECT Entertainment officially apologized for the idol's remarks stating, "He said the wrong brand by mistake."
Despite apologizing for his mistake, the male soloist continues to receive hate from K-netizens, who wonder how the artist made the mistake of saying the wrong brand name when the names don't even sound similar.
Some netizens said that Kang may not become an MC anymore, while others commented that he should have prepared more since it was a live broadcast. One netizen also stated that the fact that he said "half-sincere" is more of a turn off to Seagram.
Here are some of their reactions:
"I don't think we'll see him as the main MC ever again. He talks so thoughtlessly. He's lucky he wasn't sued."
"I hope he isn't chosen to be the main MC anymore."
"He may not appear as MC on any shows anymore."
"He knows it's a live broadcast, he should have prepared better."
"What kind of excuse is that? He should have prepared more."
"The way he said that he's 'half-sincere' is even more of a turn off to Seagram."
"A joke? Half-sincere? Seriously, he has no manners whatsoever."
"I can understand if he made a mistake of mentioning something that sounds like Seagram but he said something that doesn't even sound like it."
