OMEGA X Sexually Harassed, Threatened by Spire Entertainment CEO, According to Members
On Nov. 16, all eleven members of OMEGA X- Jaechan, Kevin, Sebin, Junghoon, Hwichan, Jaehyun, Hangyeom, Taedong, Yechan, Xen, and Hyuk- attended a press conference to reveal their side on the recent controversy over their management company Spire Entertainment mistreating the members. The agency's former CEO, Kang Seong Hee, in particular, was accused of verbally, physically, and mentally abusing the boys.
Later on, OMEGA X's legal representative said that they will proceed with pressing charges against the former CEO for assaulting, threatening, and exploiting the members. Prior to that, they will first apply for nullifying the exclusive contract of the members for their future activities.
OMEGA X Applies for All Related Trademarks
In related news, OMEGA X recently applied for trademark rights. The group specifically applied for both their Korean and English names, as well as the fandom name "FOR X" on Nov. 7. This was the same day former Spire Entertainment CEO, Kang Seong Hee, resigned from her position.
Apart from that, the hashtag "#PROTECTOMEGAX" was also registered with the group and fandom names. This hashtag is the one that both the group and its fans use to bring awareness to the abuse and mistreatment the boys have faced at the hands of their company.
