After Chuu was reportedly kicked out from her group LOONA due to alleged power abuse, K-pop fans raised their brows against Blockberry Creative after re-examining the group's previous activities, questioning the agency's treatment of its artists.
LOONA's Past Activities Re-Examined – Are They Being Overworked?
On social media platforms and K-pop communities, the past activities of LOONA are gaining attention, highlighting how Blockberry Creative seems to be treating the girl group.
Earlier, LOONA embarked on their first world tour, "LOONATHEWORLD," starting with LA in July and completed 14 shows in the U.S. in August in Mexico City.
Due to criticism and speculations of lying that the agency received, Blockberry posted a new statement, saying:
"It is not our intention to expose Chuu's power trip to the public and the media.
But it is a natural explanation process to write the reason for her withdrawal, and it is the right of Chuu herself and the staff who suffered the damage to provide facts and evidence.
If there is anything unfair or wants to correct, the parties should reveal it themselves, and we have already confirmed what happened between Chuu and the staff, so we released the statement.
We ask you to refrain from groundless speculative reports related to this fan notice or malicious comments and rumors that undermine our reputation... we will cooperate in providing content and evidence."
