Here's REASON Viewers Raised Brows Against SNSD Tiffany's Acting Skills
Despite the positive feedback, there are some viewers who are not satisfied with Tiffany's performance and provided criticism as they believed there's still room for improvement.
Insight wrote:
"Rather than melting into the play, there is a strong feeling that "Tiffany of Girls' Generation is acting." To be perceived as Tiffany, not Rachel. There are some long lines in Korean because she plays the role of competent secretary, but the poor delivery power is also a negative factor."
Just like Rachel, Tiffany Young, is also a Korean-American, who speaks English and Korean. However, unlike her natural English, there was a response that the speaking part in Korean was awkward and stood out.
She received similar reviews in the last five episodes. Analysts say that the Korean language itself was awkward in the scene of talking to Song Joong Ki.
Some commented that Tiffany's Korean performance was disappointing, but since she's a rookie actress, fans are willing to wait and see her improvement in the succeeding episodes.
Attention is focused on whether she will be able to erase the criticism and see some progress from her.
Meanwhile, JTBC's "Reborn Rich" airs every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 10:30 p.m. KST.
