5 Things Viewers Didn't Like About 2022 MAMA Awards Day 1

On Nov. 29, Day 1 of the two-day 2022 MAMA Awards took place at Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan. Fans were provided with plenty of iconic moments such as the K-pop idols looking gorgeous and handsome during the red carpet event, the collaboration stage between fourth-generation girl groups, and more.

But while there was much to enjoy from the first day, many viewers have had mixed reactions or complaints about the awards ceremony. Here are the five things that viewers didn't like about the 2022 MAMA Awards Day 1.

1. 2022 MAMA Awards Being Held in Japan

First, the girls mostly stood awkwardly at the back while they took turns in performing songs. Second, some say that there were girls who didn't match the concept of their performance.

Third, many are saying that the collab stage could've been better if they performed another song or anything that will leave the audience stunned. While they were happy the groups performed TWICE's iconic song "Cheer Up," fans are disappointed that the 2022 MAMA Awards just let the girls do this little when they had the best opportunity to showcase more.
