BLACKPINK Rosé, whose group is currently heralding a world tour, sparked concern over her health among fans and internet users after THIS photo circulated online.
BLACKPINK Rosé's Current Weight Worries BLINKs
Recently, various online communities have re-examined BLACKPINK, who is currently conducting its world tour in different cities around Europe such as, "BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] LONDON" at THE O2 in London on November 30 and December 1.
The quartet has been performing in different cities, countries and continents starting from South Korea in October and the US in November. This December, they will embark on a tour in Europe followed by their Asian Tour from January to May 2023. Their last stop will be in Australia set to be held in June next year.
Amid the excitement of fans to see the "biggest girl group in the world," some BLINKs raised concern over the health of members due to its full-packed schedule after Rosé's photos spread on the internet.
In particular, the scene where member Rosé's body shape was captured was shared on various online communities and became a hot topic.
In the released photo, Rosé's narrow waist in a cropped tee attracted the attention of internet users and fans. Although the female idol is already popular for her ant waist even before her debut, the photo caused a shock as the idol's ribs were already showing while dancing, implying weight loss.
People also emphasized that it was visible that Rosé legs lost some weight, worrying about her health amid the world tour.
Internet users who encountered this responded in various ways but most agreed that she looks thinner, saying:
- "I'm worried if she's sick."
- "Please eat well even though you are busy."
- "I think you are too thin."
- "The ribs are too stark."
- "Unnie, please don't do any diet anymore."
On the flip side, some are saying that Rosé seems healthy on her Instagram photos and explained:
- "It's likely that the photo just caught Rosé at a moment."
- "Isn't it like that because she's dancing?"
- "She looks healthy to me."
Web users then recalled the "Shut Down" singer's previous interview with Elle Korea in May, revealing her secret to managing her body.
"I try not to eat the day before filming, and if I am hungry at night, I just endure it as much as I can. I try not to eat anything at all."
