Lami in 2013 to 2020: SMROOKIES, MV Debut, 'Mickey Mouse Club'
Lami, 19, entered SM Entertainment in 2013 to train as an actress. Eventually, she was added to SMROOKIES and continued training, intending to become an idol.
Due to her visuals, Lami became popular among K-pop fans, and her fandom got bigger even before her debut when she made an appearance in Red Velvet's "Happiness" in 2014, her debut in an MV.
When she joined Channel Korea's "Mickey Mouse Club," she was loved even more for her innocent visuals, lovely personality and excellent idol skills.
Later on, it was reported that she will join SR16G, a pre-debut team that is set to be launched as the agency's next girl group after Red Velvet, leading to her inactivity in 2017 to prepare for her upcoming debut.
She almost debuted in aespa. Unfortunately, it didn't happen after she reportedly left SM in 2020, just before the quartet's debut.
Since then, she initially communicated with fans through live broadcasts but later on drifted away from the camera to focus on her studies.
