On KBS Gayo Daechukje 2022, ITZY Ryujin has swept MIDZYs' hearts with a sharp performance, and awesome improvisation.
Here's what the idol did.
ITZY Ryujin Gains Attention For Her Improvisation & Chic Performance
The song festival was full of energetic performances from different K-pop artists, making fans root for their faves on the event. One performance caught fans' attention for its sharpness and professional execution.
ITZY performed their Intro stage, transitioned to 'CHESHIRE,' and followed by 'SNEAKERS.'
In the middle of the performance, ITZY Ryujin drove MIDZYs wild with her solo dance break. The dance break consists of Chaeryoung accidentally dropping her hat, due to energetic dance moves.
Instead of leaving the hat, Ryujin kicked it off flying, adding charm to her dance break.
Here are their comments below:
"Chaeryeong's hat fell, and Ryujin just lightly kicked it away. Freaking awesome wow, I screamed when I watched it."
"It's not like she prepared it in advance, but she turned an unexpected situation into a performance. It was so cool to watch."
"She kicked Chaeryeong's hat, and it seemed like it was pre-planned, so it made me laugh."
"Kicking a fallen hat, showing only half of her face because of the fedora. Her dance line showing better because of her wide pants, lighting, and dancing with full power, but still looking clean. Everything was just perfect."
"Oh she's cool. Seriously, it's funny how chic and natural she looks."
"This reminded me of those TikTok edits where an idol does the smallest thing, like continuing to dance when a button came undone, and fans express how professional they are."
