On January 30, Hanteo Music Awards has unveiled the first row of artists attending the program. Various artists will be making appearances on the awarding, expecting audiences to anticipate the much-awaited ceremony
Since Hanteo played a vital role in propelling the Korean Wave, the chart has decided to commemorate its 30th anniversary in an award show format.
Hanteo is also the first music chart in Korea to affiliate with K-pop, with the mission to collect real time data in artists' releases.

According to Hanteo Global CEO Kwak Young Ho, the program will navigate back on Hanteo's history and its longtime affiliation with the K-pop industry. The CEO added that the show will welcome both local and international fans.
"This award ceremony will be a meaningful occasion to look back on the history of Hanteo Chart and look back on 30 years of K-pop. We will make it a place where many global fans can enjoy it together."

In other news, Hanteo charts has revealed the best-selling K-pop acts from the year 2000 to 2020. The range covered sales from popular groups, transcending from one generation to another.
