TXT Makes History In Hanteo Charts For Having The Second Highest First Week Sales
On January 27, TXT has released their newest mini album "The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION."
On its first day, the album sold a total of 1.8 million copies. It surpassed their previous record in "Minisode 2: Thursday's Child," which sold 1,248,370 copies in terms of first-week sales.
As of February 3, Hanteo has updated their charts, and it was revealed that "The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION" has now sold 2,180,889 copies in its first week of release. The copies covered from this period was from January 27 to February 2.
With less than six days of achieving this feat, TXT became the artist with the second-highest first week sales recorded in Hanteo history. The group earned this success, following senior group and K-pop sensation, BTS.

TXT's mini album "The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION" is also the fourth album with the highest first-week sales in Hanteo, following "Map of the Soul:7," "Proof," and "BE" from BTS.

TXT Becomes 1st Foreign Artist to Dominate Oricon With 7 Consecutive Albums
On a previous note, TXT also became the first foreign artist to dominate Oricon with 7 consecutive releases.
On January 31, Oricon unveiled their weekly album chart. This chart included TXT's "The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION," and also covered albums from January 23 to 29.
It was revealed that the album has sold 185,000 copies in Japan, in just three days. On their previous album "Minisode 2: Thursday's Child," the group became the first overseas artist to top the chart with 6 consecutive albums, only to be bested by "The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION."
The title track "Sugar Rush Ride" also received love across different music charts. It debuted on Melon's Top 100, earning its place at No. 6. The song also appeared on Japan's iTunes Top Albums chart.
TXT's 'MOA DIARY' Selected as No. 1 Addictive Song That Should Be Banned for 2022 CSAT
In other news, the global fandom app Star Play announced the Top 10 addictive songs that were prohibited during the 2022 CSAT (College Scholastic Ability Test). The songs chosen were from fans' music palette, and TXT's "MOA Diary" ranked first on the poll.
The content is a repackaged version of TXT's album "The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE," which was released in August 2022. In the rankings, it took the No. 1 spot with 39.08% votes from fans.
