The month of February is something to look forward to in K-pop, since many idols are going to offer fans new music, content, and many more. Aside from Korean tracks, Japanese releases are also prominent in the industry, and should also be anticipated.
Without further ado, here are 5 K-pop artists with Japanese tracks this February!
1. NCT DREAM - 'Best Friend Ever'
NCT Dream released their first Japanese single "Best Friend Ever," which sported an upbeat style. It was posted on February 8, giving NCTzens another bop on their playlist. The song also delivers an uplifting message to fans, letting fans know the importance of connection. If you haven't checked the MV, then now's the right time!
2. Stray Kids - 'THE SOUND'
Stray Kids is set to release their first full Japanese album "THE SOUND" in February 22. Their fans STAYs were thrilled by the news, leading to their anticipation. Stray Kids even featured a fan chant guide for fans, preparing them for their Japanese track.
Their Japanese album will feature 11 tracks, including "THE SOUND," "Battle Ground," "Lost Me," "DLMLU," "Novel," Scars," "There," and "Thunderous (Japanese version)." It will include Japanese versions of "CASE 143," and "CHILL" as well.
3. FAVE1 Rock Hyeon - 'Over'
On February 2, FAVE1 Rock Hyeon released his solo Japanese single "Over." This track also marks his solo debut, since he is also affiliated with boy group FAVE1. Teasers for "Over" were posted as early as January 16. When it arrived, fans were mesmerized by Rock Hyeon's vocals and the song's elevating vibe.
FAVE1 is a group under KISS Entertainment, and they debuted with single "Zombie," on July 2022. All idols in the group are also former members of 100%, a disbanded boy group. Moreover, FAVE1 also made their debut in Japan.
4. CLASS:y - 'TARGET'
CLASS:y released "TARGET" which takes fans to an espionage themed music video and a boisterous music. The song features catchy trumpet sequences, amplified by the girls' vocals. It was released on February 7.
CLASS:y consists of members Jimin, Chaewon, Hyungseo, Boeun, Riwon, Seonyou, and Hyejoo. Check out the song if you haven't listened to it!
5. OnlyOneOf - 'chrOme arts'
OnlyOneOf also aims to release Japanese album "chrOme arts," in which pre-orders are now available. Even though its music video was released in January, fans are still excited for the album this February. Check out their music video!
