Just then, during the audition round, a boy group under the alias name, "14:00" team appeared, which means 2 p.m. While on stage, Super Junior Kyuhyun, who is pretty much known as the prankster of his group showed his playful side after deciding to prank Jay Park.

When the "14:00" team was shown and introduced themselves as 2 p.m., Kyuhyun suddenly shouted:

"Oh! 2PM!"

With this, Jay Park smiled at the Super Junior member embarrassingly, as he immediately understood that Kyuhyun wasn't referring to the contestant, but to the former boy group he used to belong to, none other than 2PM. In fact, Kyuhyun even gestured to 2PM's hand sign.

However, Jay Park decided to go with the flow and asked:

"Okay, this is good."

Hilariously, Kyuhyun isn't only targetting Jay Park, as Tiffany and Gi Kwang also had a special past with the group 2PM.

When Lee Gi Kwang heard this, he also couldn't hold back his emotion and burst into laughter. Tiffany, an idol of the same generation, quietly added:

"It's been a while since I heard that name."

As a context, Park Jaebeom, also known as Jay Park used to be the leader of K-pop icon 2PM which debuted in September 2009.

However, while working with them, he was caught in a controversy of disparaging Korea after netizens discovered his old MySpace account. He was severely criticized which made him leave the group for the U.S. to avoid further damage to his team.

Later on, it was found out that the posts were only misinterpreted and that Park was only expressing his difficulties in adapting to Korean life, rather than hating Koreans.

Nevertheless, he still left 2PM, JYP Entertainment citing his privacy issues.

Meanwhile, Tiffany's reaction drew attention as she wasn't related to the group, but to its member Nichkhun. In 2014, the two famous idols confirmed that they were dating and started a public relationship. But in May 2015, they eventually decided to break up due to personal matters.

As for Gi Kwang, he was actually a former JYP Entertainment before debuting as HIGHLIGHT (formerly known as Beast). He almost debuted with 2PM if he wasn't cut off from the final debut lineup.

Jay Park Mentions Being Kicked Out Of 2PM

On the same day, Jay Park also made a surprise mention of being kicked out of the group 2PM in the past.

In particular, the participants were divided into categories including groups that were suspended due to contract termination or military vacuum.

MC Lee Seung Gi explained that the teams' real group names or any information about them will not be revealed, implying a competition with skills only to support.

The MC cheered by the cast by saying:

"The winning team will be given 300 million won in prize money."

Park Jaebeom, who heard about the huge prize money, laughed by showing his willingness to participate, saying:

"I was also suspended from my activities in the past, so can I participate there?"

In response, singer Cho Kyuhyun dissuaded him and frankly said:

"JB, you are old for that."

Meanwhile, Jay Park, after leaving 2PM pursued a solo career in Korea and the US and has since then founded his own labels AOMG, H1GHR Music, and MORE VISION as well as his own soju brand, Won Soju.
