BTS, LE SSERAFIM, and other K-pop groups have been granted numerous certifications from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).

BTS Receives Million Certificate + LE SSERAFIM, NCT DREAM, Stray Kids Earn Platinum
On March 10, the Recording Industry Association of Japan or simply known as RIAJ, has took off the veil on artists who've won certifications.
First in the announcement was BTS, who received an official million certification from RIAJ, due to their 2020 Japanese album "Map of the Soul: 7 ~ The Journey ~" shipping over one million units.

BTS's 2020 smash hit "Dynamite" also joined in their platinum compilation, after it exceeded 500 million streams, earning the group with RIAJ's diamond certification.
These achievements led BTS to become the only Korean act with three highest RIAJ streaming certifications.
With LE SSERAFIM hot on their trail, the fourth-generation group was granted with an RIAJ gold certification. Their song "ANTIFRAGILE" has reportedly surpassed 50 million streams in Japan.
K-pop Artists Who Received the Most RIAJ Certifications
On K-pop's history, various artists have received numerous RIAJ certifications due to their flourishing music and increasing popularity. With that in mind, there are those who managed to cop more than a dozen RIAJ certifications in their career. It also shows how popular these artists are in Japan!
