BTS J-Hope enlistment date has been announced. In his recent live stream, the singer-rapper revealed the details of his forthcoming hiatus.
BTS J-Hope Enlistment: Idol Reveals Date 'Has Come Out,' Seeks Advice From Jin
On March 17, BTS J-Hope shared details of his military enlistment status to ARMYs during his live broadcast on the fan-community platform Weverse.
J-Hope, however, did not mention when it would be exactly, but he said he would prepare for it soon.
"I can't tell you in detail, but the (enlistment) date has already come out. It's time to prepare."
In February, J-Hope applied for cancellation of military enlistment postponement. However, he was convinced to do it since BTS member Jin is currently serving the army.
"Ever since Jin entered, I thought about when I should do it. But then I decided to do it so I am able to return as soon as possible and show a better image."

J-Hope also said he already spoke with co-member and hyung Jin. He mentioned that as soon as the enlistment came out, J-Hope called Jin and asked for various advice he needed. He also told ARMYs during the live broadcast to look forward to it.
J-Hope also affirmed that his goal is not to age in his military enlistment but to return and stay in good condition.
BTS J-Hope, Jimin Visit Jin in Military Base
Jin shared on his Instagram that his co-members J-Hope and Jimin visited him on March 4, and shared with ARMYs a glimpse of their reunion on Instagram.
The photo featured Jin in his uniform, looking good and healthy. Jimin and J-Hope stand beside him, seemingly happy seeing their brother.

BTS Jin started his military duty last December 2022 in Gyeonggi Province, near North Korea's borders. His enlistment is expected to end in June 2024.
BTS J-Hope's 'on the street' Ranks on Billboard Hot 100
BTS J-Hope released his single track with J.Cole, "on the street," on March 2. As expected, because of the two top stars' unexpected collaboration, the track ranked No. 60 on Billboard Hot 100.
This is the second time J-Hope entered the Billboard Hot 100. His collaboration with Becky G, "Chicken Noodle Soup," also charted at No. 81 in 2019. It garnered 9.7 million streams in the United States.
BTS member J-Hope's pre-released songs "MORE" and "Arson" from his latest album "Jack In The Box" also entered the the same chart.
